My Ethnicity

I am American by birth and Texan by the grace of God. I am proud of my heritage and the fact that my forefathers arrived in this country with as some of the earliest European settlers. I consider myself an American first and foremost, but I am also proud of where my family's origins lie. My ancestors are generally considered to be English and Scottish, with a colorful garnish of French, German and Cherokee for added flavor. The Colson surname itself can be traced back to the Vikings of Scandinavia who spread it around much of England and Western Europe.
